Chinese Bible Ministry Exhibition at Kirchentag

Dear friends, brothers and sisters,

Cordial greetings from Shanghai in the name of Jesus Christ!

With the abundant grace of God and His guidance, the China Christian Council and the National TSPM had very successful Bible Ministry Exhibitions in Hong Kong and the U.S.A. (2004 and 2006, respectively). We appreciated the great support and prayers offered by Christian friends all over the world. I feel excited to tell you that through the invitation of the Evangelical Church in Germany (EKD), CCC/TSPM is going to have the exhibition held in Cologne, Germany, from June 7 to 9, 2007, during the Kirchentag, the largest Protestant event in Germany. If you want to attend the Kirchentag, you may register on (The opening worship service and introductory gathering for Kirchentag will be on the evening of the 6th.)

The theme of the Bible Ministry Exhibition of the Church in China is "Lamp to My Feet, A Light to My Path". There will be no specific opening ceremony for the exhibition. The location will be Hall 10.2, Messegelande, Cologne (2nd floor of the Hall No. 10). In the exhibition, there will be about 70-80 items, divided into six sections as follows: 1) History, 2) Bible Publication, 3) Bible Distribution, 4) Bible Ministry among Ethnic Minority Groups, 5) Church Life in China, 6) Art/Crafts with Biblical Subjects.

A scaled-down version of the Bible Ministry Exhibition will also be displayed in the mission center of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bavaria. The Opening for this will be at 18:30 on June 13. This exhibition will be on display from June 13 to July 23, 2007. The mission center's address is Hauptstrasse 2, D-91564 Neuendettelsau, Germany.

A CCC/TSPM delegation, led by Rev. Dr. Cao Shengjie, President of China Christian Council, will go to Germany for this Bible Ministry Exhibition, and the delegation will also include:
Rev. Gao Feng, Vice Chairperson of National TSPM, President of Shandong Christian Council and Theological Seminary;
Ms. Chen Meilin, Executive Associate General Secretary of China Christian Council
Rev. Bao Jiayuan, Associate General Secretary of China Christian Council
Mr. Gu Mengfei, from the Research Department of CCC/TSPM
Mr. Ma Hongzhi, Teacher from Nanjing Union Theological Seminary
Mr. Ding Jieren, from the Publication Department of CCC/TSPM (photographer);
Ms. Gu Jingqin, from the Overseas Relations Department of CCC/TSPM.

During almost the same period, a group consisting of 12 pastors and lay ministers of grass-roots churches are also visiting Germany and will join the Bible Ministry Exhibition while in Cologne. You may see the name list of this delegation on our website.

On behalf of CCC/TSPM, I welcome our friends to come to see the exhibition. A "VIP room" will be prepared for our guests, and the delegates will be there, ready to meet you and share with you.
